these are pictures and stories of my grandmother (mom's mom). i am so in love with her!

(my aunt barbara says about this photograph: "I just knew this picture was not just in my head. Sister u certainly can't tell by this who had the pretty legs, but remember u are older and a little more filled out .....LOL look at my top. I'm loving this.")

i love her hair! look at those lips! mom has them, too. i only got the bottom one. (crabs.)
five: my grandmother and aunt barbara in the desert
(this was apparently taken in nevada, on their way back from visiting our aunt joyce in california. grandmother said they were hot and tired. she is on the left, barbara jean on the right.)

this picture is from the same trip -- aunt barbara is on the left, and my grandmother is in the striped tank on the right. i love her so much! i talked to her on the phone just now and she said she married my grandfather just a couple of weeks after this was taken... he married a baby! i just cannot believe this is what she looked like as a teenager -- this is my dream hair, dream body, dream face! this is what i've always wanted to look like. i want this tattooed across my ribs. i LOVE this picture. she looks so tall and strong and fierce! fuck! i love my family.
